Soko's Outdoor Market Will Be Behind Polo Park

It looks like this event has been cancelled but they will be doing a fundraiser event for Habitat for Humanity in a month or so.  Keep an eye out here because I will update when I hear the plans.  :)

"The Soko Market has secured the site for an outdoor market this summer.  The site is the Bomber's Stadium Parking Lot, on the corner of St James and St Matthews.  It is a high traffic area especially on Saturdays and Sundays.  It would be right across from Old Navy, Best Buy, Michaels, and Future Shop.  Not far from Polo Park, Silver City Polo Park.  For those of you who know Polo Park, you know you have tremendous traffic from Home Depot and Chapters on Empress, Toys R us on St Matthews, Walmart on Empress, The Superstore and Rona on Sargent near St James.  Plus there are numerous hotels in the area.  We will be advertising with Destination Winnipeg as well, to let the tourists know where we are.  The market will run from around mid june to September and possibly to the end of October (depending on the weather).  We would like to start Saturdays and Sundays.  Ideally would like to start June 16th, 2012 until 29/30 of September, 2012 depending on how many vendors we can get as early as possible.  Please let me know if you are interested to receive an application and information sheet."
