WEST Handmade and Vintage Sale III is This Weekend!

This is going to be a really good sale as usual.  It is at the R.A.Steen Community Centre (980 Palmerston Ave.) this Saturday (11am-4pm).  Check it Out.  Here's some info from their Facebook page to get you all charged up for it.  :)

"Chock-a-block with handmade and vintage goodness, including soaps, vintage housewares, jewelry (geekery, steampunk, and eco-luxury too!), items for children and babies, retro and vintage apparel, knitted and crocheted fun, journals, pottery, and much, much more! 

There will be delicious goodies to buy and FREE coffee and tea. 

We are having "Learn it" table where you can try your hand at a variety crafts, free of charge. Come and discover the creative craftster lurking inside of you! 

This sale is the perfect opportunity to get a Mother's Day present for the woman who deserves something as lovely and unique as she is.

RA Steen Annual Craft Spring Craft Sale is Tomorrow

My kids are always very excited about this sale for some reason.  Probably because they have been going since they were babies in slings.  ;)   Well... it is tomorrow, it has free admission, and it is great so you should go.  The weather is a little Springy so maybe going to a Spring craft sale will lift your spirits.  Just imagine that the snow forecasted does not actually appear this weekend and enjoy Spring at RA Steen.  Ha Ha!

Tiny Toes Baby Gear

Laurie is a local artisan who makes adorable baby gear and her Etsy shop is Tiny Toes Baby Gear.  She specializes in super cute embroidered bath robes.  Along with the bath robes, Laurie makes hooded bath towels, burp clothes, booboo blankets, swaddle gift packs, and reusable diapers.  For a little more of a personalized touch she can add your child's name to her warm and cuddly goodies.  Laurie is up for custom orders too so contact her if you are looking for something special for your child or a gift for a little one in your life.  Have a peak below at more of her cute and cozy baby gear.

"The Teulon & Area Farmers Market is excited to be planning our first Springfest Craft Sale, in Teulon, MB and we are hoping you would be one of our vendors!

We host two large events each year, Pumpkinfest in September and our Winterfest Craft Sale in December. This is in addition to our weekly market held Fridays from June to September.  We’ve had huge success with our sales so we have decided to organize another craft sale to celebrate spring. We’ll give our customers a handmade option for their mothers day shopping as Springfest is scheduled for the weekend before Mother’s Day. Since this event is hosted by our local Farmers Market, all product sold are to be strictly handmade; we will not include home sales companies. Our motto is that all our vendors must “make it, bake it, or grow it!”

Springfest will be held indoors in our spacious Teulon Hall. We have 50 eight foot tables available. We will accept applications until April 1, 2013 when we will make our selection. We will limit the number of vendors in all categories (example – jewelry, canning, soaps, baking) at our organizers discretion. We want a great balance of all vendors to satisfy our customers shopping needs and to not have an over saturation of any one product.
